Care Instructions

Proper care is essential to the long term quality and enjoyment of your FERA and Meister products. Please consult the care label attached to your product for specific instructions.
We recommend the following care guidelines for FERA jackets and pants with waterproof fabrics: Do not dry clean your FERA garment. The chemicals used may damage the waterproof lamination.
Empty all pockets; remove any faux-fur, suspenders or any other detachable trim; and close all zippers.
Machine wash the garment in cold water by itself with a small or moderate amount of detergent. Do not use softener or bleach. Set on an extended rinse cycle to get all detergent out of the insulation. OK to use a stain remover prior to washing.
Tumble dry the garment by itself on a low or low-medium heat setting. Run the dryer for an extended cycle or as long as is required for the garment to dry completely inside. For down or puffy jackets, toss in 1-2 tennis balls into the dryer to help fluff the garment.
Hang the fully-dried garment in a cool and dry place for storage. Do not store damp or in direct sunlight.

Just the right length for

Just the right length for a petite skier. Plenty of movement and it kept me warm even on snow days.

Great purchase

I purchased the Prism Blue + White for a ski trip to Colorado. The cold is always a concern of mine, but it kept me warm in 12 F temps. I was also happy with the secure pockets for my phone, chapstick, etc. and happy color that made it easy for my kids to spot me. I didn't find it too short like other reviewers have mentioned on other websites, but I have a short torso. It was perfect for me. I am 125 lbs, 34C, 5'4" and sized up to a 10 after reading reviews to allow for layering. (I am an 8 in the Danielle III Faux Fur Parka.) Another skier on the slopes had the hot pink, so we would yell, "nice jacket!" when we saw each other. :)
